For your safety, we've converted the fireplace into an electric unit. You may turn it on and off by simply turning the timed switch on the wall to the left of the fireplace. It may be "hiding" behind the little tree. 

Note: the fireplace is NOT expected to produce primary heat, but should be turned off when not in the home.
